CSA880 Series Network Communication Management Machine

CSA881 Communication management machine is a new substation automation information comprehensive management unit,which is applicable to substation automation system and relevant electric communication engineer project with various voltage degrees,different scales and different functions.

With the rapid development of computer science,communication technology and internet technology,great changes have taken place in electric system communication.The traditional integrated,low-speed adn special close-end electric power communication network has been changed into open,high-speed and comprehensive network.The high-speed electric system information resources are shared through the connection of intranet and internet.At the same time,since all equipment in substation is provided by different manufacturers with different communication media and communication protocols,it is necessary to conduct protocol transmission in between.In addition,it is also necessary to transmit different data needed for local main monitoring station,local relay prottion branch station and distant dispatching by different communication modes and their required protocols.

In order to meet this requirement,we develop CSA881 communication management machine,which adopts 32 bits industrially controlled CPU with powerful calculation ability as well as good real time and reliable multi-tasks embedded operation system as its system platform.It has the characteristics of reliable operation,strong anti-interference ability,and fast response,easily extensible and easily testable.Having a powerful and flexible protocol base,it can be compatible with the communication protocols of main protected manufacturers and relevant equipment manufacturers from home and abroad.Therefore,the management machine can start communicating after it is connected into manufacturers`equipment in accordance with local requirement as well as set in backstage setting software according to the concrete requirements of distant dispatching in local monitoring station.The basic type of CSA881 communication management machine has 3 Ethernet interfaces,4 serial interfaces(can be extended to 12 serial interfaces)and each communication interface can be equipped with inlets and outlets with different protocols.CSA881 communication management machine can act as the communication management servers within substations.It can be used as the communication protocol conversion equipment for intellectual equipment within substations,as the branch station in protecting the management system and it can also be connected into the protection equipment within substations so as to complete the information collection and management work of protection equipment within substation.
