General Description

CSA8000 substation automation system is acomplete set of comprehensive automatic system applicable to the protection,measurement and control,communication and operation management of 110kV and lower transmission and distribution network as well as 125MW and lower generator or generator units.The whole intellectual property right is owned by the company since the main hardware and sftware equipment in the total system is developed and complete independently by our company.Therefore,we can provide powerful technical support and mature on-site service to free clients from any concerns.

With the open,modularized and object-oriented design idea,this system can be extended smoothly and indefinitely as well as linked seamlessly with intellectual equipment provided by manufacturers to integrate various intellectual equipments with different functions into comprehensive automation system so as to make the system function more powerful and thus greatly meet the requirement of modern automation system integration.

Taking the relibable operation in harsh environment into full consideration in design,all hardware and software composing the system have considered te electromagnetic compatibility as well as the routine protection,measurement,control and the compatibility of signals in order that they can be applicable to the upgrading and reformation of old substation and thus diredtly comprising the comprehensive automation system.This system can be connected into dispatching automation system to become part of the comprehensive power dispatching system or integrated into DCS distributed control system in large factories and mines to become one of its subsystems.

System Structure

Adopting the layered and distributed structure,CSA8000 substation automation system is vertically divided into substation layer,network layer and bay layer.

Substation layer or the main station layer is usually composed of operators`workstations,`five protects`terminals,tele-control master stations as well as engineers`workstations,which is also a professional system of accident analysis guidance and training with the workstations with other functions required by clients can be increased or reduced accordingly.

Network layer is the communication between substation layer and bay layer.Adopting the barrier-free,rapid communication mode of whole ethernet as well as the standard IEC60870-5-103 communication protocol,the network layer could choose shielding net wire,twisted-pair wire,fiber and other communication medium to connect.

Bay layer is the layer of relay protection an measurement and control equipment layer,which protects and controls relevant equipment.Each bay unit may keep the emergency manual switching on and off operation and each bay unit should be independent to each other and not influence each other.

Bay layer in CSA8000 substation automation system has an interval distributed arrangement in workstation.Equipment in bay layer can be directly placed near switches to reduce a lot of decondary wiring.Equipment in each bay is relevantly independent but be connected by communication network as well as connected with equipment in substation so as to cancel the original great number of cables used into the main controlling room for signals,measurements,control and protection.In this way,the system can save investment and improve the reliability of system.

Equipment in substation layer in CSA8000 substation automation system also adopts distributed,open design to finish the inner station monitoring function and comprehensively provide functions like equipment status monitoring and control as well as protection information record and analysis etc.
